Fred on the train to Norwich
Christmas Shopping in Norwich, Norfolk - 21st December 2022
Nosher and the boys get the train up to Norwich to do a spot of Christmas shopping, with a stop at Pizza Express in the Forum, which has a massive queue, then the one in St. Benedict which is also full, and then back to the Forum, where the queue has died down enough to get a table. Harry's not interested in pizza anyway, so he surreptitiously scoffs some take-away sushi from Yo! on Chapelfield. The next day, Openretch finally appears after two previous missed appointments to install a fibre internet connection, then we pop into Eye to get a few more Christmas things.
next album: Christmas Day and Other Stuff, Diss, Brome and Norwich - 25th December 2022
previous album: The Gislingham Silver Band at Thornham and Yaxley, Suffolk - 19th December 2022
Harry exits through the barriers at Norwich
Near the Cosy Club - the old bank
London Street in Norwich
A digger hauls itself up after shedding a track
Harry buys coffee beans in Whittards
There's a big hole in London Street
Purple graffiti on London Street
Some sort of 'character' roams around
Harry and Fred in Jarrold's
Harry scopes out Lego in Jarrold
Harry and Fred roam around in Jarrold's
Fred and Harry have a dinosaur finger-puppet fight
A packed Haymarket in Norwich
Primark tragically has a range of Gregg's clothing
Fred wanders about in Primark
Primark's checkouts are quite an operation
The last remains of Topshop are removed
Harry briefly looks in Langley's
Pottergate Tavern has been reopened
A scarfed head on Pottergate
We poke around in St. Gregory's Antiques
Fred looks at more randomness
Fred points at something
The Drawing Rooms on Pottergate
There's an absurdley hipster coffee place
The gallopers outside the Forum
Inside the Forum
Fred wrangles the rocket on his pizza
Harry secretly scoffs sushi in Pizza Express
There's some dude playing Pink Floyd
We scope out an art exhibition for a bit
Fred roams around in Marks and Spencer
Christmas lights outside Chapelfield
St. Stephen's church in the gathering dusk
Rampant Horse Street lights up in the evening
The bins are emptied on Haymarket
The famous Light Tunnel is in action again
The light tunnel by St. Peter Mancroft
Illuminated trees and market on Gentleman's Walk
London Street and a bit of Jarrold's
The River Wensum at sunset
Openreach is up a pole putting our new fibre in
Fred buys something in Cocoa Mama
Harry buys himself a little thing
We head up to the Co-op off Broad Street in Eye
Fred considers some chocolate
The Fabric Shop has a Christmas display in the window
Hint: you can use the left and right cursor keys to navigate between albums, and between photos when in the photo viewer
