Fred runs around after we pile out of the car
A Trip to Lynford Arboretum, Mundford, Norfolk - 30th October 2020
We're staying at The Swan in Hilborough, near Mundford in Norfolk, for a weekend as a last-chance getaway before "Lockdown 2 - The Sequel" kicks off and buggers everything up again. As soon as we get there, we're off out again for a walk around the nearby estate of Lynford Hall and its autumnal arboretum.
next album: A Postcard From Kings Lynn and "Sunny Hunny" Hunstanton, Norfolk - 31st October 2020
previous album: A Walk Around the Avenue, Brome, Suffolk - 25th October 2020
The road to the arboretum
The boys queue to get ice-cream from a van
A fancy orangery
The boys hang around at the Coffee Café
Several people are sitting outside the horsebox café
We come across a pumpkin wedged into a tree
Fred looks up at a curious folly
Hairy Highland cattle in a field
Off into the woodland
The boys mess around as Isobel checks her phone
The boys are a blur in the woods
Fred and Harry sword-fight with sticks
Harry and Isobel
A glimpse of Lynford Hall
The gang hang on a fence and look over the bridge
A signpost has got a bit lost
More autumnal foliage
Fred sets up some Lego in the restaurant
It's time for tea in the Hilborough Swan
