A Sail Fitting, Billingford Windmill, Billingford, Norfolk - 20th August 2020

A pile of new sails had been noticed stacked up outside Billingford Windmill whilst on a trip up to the Horseshoes pub with The Boy Phil, and so Nosher and the boys headed over to have a look the next morning only to find that the new sails were in the process of being actually fitted. It's a delicate operation, and while we wait, one of the dudes comes over to explain that the person who designed the arms and sails had actually died four years before, and so they were a bit nervous as to whether they would fit, or more importantly what they would be able to do about it if they didn't. As it was a work morning, and the boys were getting fidgetty, we couldn't wait around all day to see what happened, but we did get to see the first of the sail arms fitted by a crane.
