A Postcard From Thaxted, Essex - 7th May 2017

The morning after the BSCC bike ride we go for a wander around Thaxted. Whilst there, we visit the church just after a service to find the organ being played by Christopher Bayston, the Organist and Director of Music at the church - a post previously held by Gustav Holst, composer of the famous "The Planets" suite.
