Baby Gabey stumps along the edge of the field
Pigeon-Eating Hawks and the Mellis Beer Festival, London and Suffolk - 31st August 2013
We're off for a walk around the fields to see Chinner the retired police horse, then Network Rail's trained pigeon-eating kestrel is at Liverpool Street Station to sort out a pigeon problem. After a short trip to Harleston, we're over at the Mellis Railway Tavern beer festival, in the pub and on the common, where at the end of the night a crazy woman comes out to shout at us for leaving our bikes in a bush on common land, before starting to throw them around. Finally, it's the end of the era of getting the train back from London and picking Fred up from Peacock Montessori Nursery nursery in Stuston on the cycle ride home.
next album: Stradbroke Classic Car Show, Stradbroke, Suffolk - 7th September 2013
previous album: Bressingham Gardens, and Building Progress, Brome, Suffolk - 26th August 2013
Fred gives Chinner a pat on the cheek
Ellie lifts Harry up
Harry and Fred poke Chinner
Harry and Isobel
Fred walks around near the massive horse
The two new wind turbines loom over the skyline
At Liverpool Street, there's a pigeon problem
One man and his kestrel
The pigeon-eating kestrel gets ready for a mission
Two balloons float over Thrandeston
Harleston High Street
The town-hall clock tower, Harleston
Harry waits for something to eat in a Café
There's a gnome in a chimney pot
Crowds sit around in the gathering dusk in Mellis
One of the bands does its thing
Marc at the bar
The Boy Phil, Paul and Isobel in the Railway
Pouring a pint
A sign for an art gallery
Sitting down on the job
A sign in case the toilet tips upside down
Isobel chats to Chichi
Nice stained glass in a K6 phone box
A re-glazed K6 phone box on the Common
K6 phone box with stained glass windows
The joys of a festival toilet
More band action on stage
A Triumph Herald that's almost George
Marc gets his hug on
Marc has a moment
Evening crowds outside the pub
The Boy Phil and Marc have to fix Phil's bike
Fred outside Peacock Nursery in Stuston
Fred gives thumbs up for his last nursery day
