Nosher's home-made ex-CD player media streamer
The Cherry Tree Beer Festival, Yaxley, Suffolk - 4th February 2011
There's a beer festival up at the Cherry Tree in Yaxley, which is all there is to it really. Before that, there's a photo of Nosher's home-made media player, which was built in around 2004. It was an old-ish PC motherboard stuffed into a stripped-out Yamaha CDX-500E CD player, with a soundcard and a network connection. The CD's control buttons werer actually wired into the keyboard controller and could skip up and down or pause, stop and play, via a custom media client written in Perl. It was quite handy, although the noisy external ATX power supply was a bit of a pain.
next album: Fred Visits The Swan, Brome, Suffolk - 5th February 2011
previous album: Pizza in Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk - 30th January 2011
Fred and Isobel outside Place Farm in Stuston
Some dude's asleep in the Yaxley Cherry Tree
Wavy and Gov
The Boy Phil gets a beer
Tim's not sure
Jimmy, Tim, Gov and Wavy
The sleeping dude
The Boy Phil and the gang in The Tree
Thumbs up
Gov and Phil
There's a Scalextric set hanging from the ceiling
The beer festival's beer barrels
The sofa dude is still asleep
Wavy waits by the bogs
More thumbs up
Music and the crowds around the bar
Wavy out on the street
Hint: you can use the left and right cursor keys to navigate between albums, and between photos when in the photo viewer
