A VW 'splittie' is converted into a chilli-dispensing van
The Aldeburgh Food Festival, Snape Maltings, Suffolk - 25th September 2010
Isobel and Fred are off in Dublin, on the day of Fred's 2nd birthday no less, so Nosher is at a loose end. As it happenes, Marc mentions up the pub one night that the Aldeburgh Food Festival was occuring, so that fitted the bill perfectly.
next album: A Bit of Ploughs to Propellors, Rougham Airfield, Suffolk - 3rd October 2010
previous album: A 1940s Steam Weekend, Holt and Sheringham, Norfolk - 18th September 2010
Chilli fron Mendlesham
The Stokes sauces stand
Out in the yard
Monster queues wait for sausages and bacon
Crowds mill around
A house covered in red Virginia creeper
People with beer mill around
A Dixie band plays
The reeds of the Alde Estuary
Stand by your cat
Snape Maltings
People roam about in the reeds
The Barbara Hepworth 'Family of Man'
Sponsored boardwalk
The river Alde
Steps down to the river
A Marks and Spencer sponsored event
Foodie crowds
Out in the sun
Crowds near the Suffolk County Council tent
Inside the largest ex-maltings
A quintet practices its thing
Girls play the tubular bells
A small girl plays the tubular bells
An old dude knocks out a tune on the tubular bells
It's bright and clear after a downpour
A sign points the way in (on the way out)
