The Cambridge Beer Festival, Jesus Green, Cambridge - 24th May 2007

After having been to the Norwich beer festival for the last million years or so, it's Nosher's first chance to go along to the next-nearest regional gig - the Cambridge Beer Festival. This is a completely different animal: largely outdoors and set in the verdant pastures of Jesus Green, larger in number of people, but possibly fewer beers and lacking in the musical entertainment, and to some extent the atmosphere, that characterises its Norfolk cousin. It's still a good festival though, and takes around 6,000 patrons on this, the Thursday night session - mostly on account of people like us on post-work trips. This also turns out to be something of a Taptu/Qualcomm reunion too.

next album: Nosher's Birthday Trip, New Milton, Hampshire - 26th May 2007
previous album: May Miscellany: London, Louise's Birthday, Norwich, and Steve Winwood, Islington and Cambridge - May 2007
