Roaming around on the beach
Salvador Dalí's House, Port Lligat, Spain - 19th Deptember 2006
Nosher had been up since around 6 in the morning (i.e. still in the middle of the night) to do a couple of hours' grape picking, but having finished that it was time to head down to the coast of Spain to visit Salvador Dalí's house at Port Lligat, near (-ish) to Figueres and Cadaqués. The house is a bunch of fisherman's cottages ingeniously knocked together into a pretty amazing pad, and, rather, cooly for a museum, we're actually allowed to take photos in it, although it's a requirement that we reserve a tour around in advance. It's worth it though for a look round and to to see some of the influences that appear in several Dalí paintings.
