New Year's Eve and Day, Thorndon and Thornham, Suffolk - 1st January 2006
The year's transition comprises a quiet night up the Swan drinking beer, followed by a New Year's Day cycle ride to the Black Horse in Thorndon and the Four Horseshoes in Thornham, and then some scones around Bill's gaff in Yaxley. The six of us cycling means an almost-doubling of the previous year's turn-out.
