Alex Hill Live at Revolution Records, Diss - 30th July 2005

New local singer/songwriter Alex Hill performs a great in-store set at the legendary Revolution Records in Diss, complete with band and of course the provision of several bottles of beer for the regulars. It's a muggy afternoon and the shop is pretty stacked, and even the photographer from the local paper, the Diss Express, makes an appearance. This causes Nosher some consternation in the losing-out-to-someone-with-a-bigger-lens-willy-waving stakes. In the band is Tom Folkard, who engineered The BBs' recording session at Pennylane Studios in Eye a while back. Rob Folkard's on the desk too, and scattered around the crowd are several familiar faces from the Diss music scene...

next album: Cats in the straw; Nadine goes on Leave; Richard P's Caravan: Cambridge Misc - 29th July 2005
previous album: Clapham Tapas, North Clapham, London - 23rd July 2005
