Aculab Advert - August 1984
From Personal Computer World
The DASH-80, designed and assembled in Great Britain
It's a mystery entry, courtesy of Aculab, for the DASH-80 - a Z80-B-based machine operating at 6MHz (not 6 milli-Hertz as the advert would have it) with 128K RAM.
It ran CP/M and came with with Wordstar, the definitive Word Processor thoughout much of the early 1980s.
The DASH-80 retailed for £1,246, or around £4,720 in 2024 money, with the DASH-10 terminal version, as shown in the advert, for £560 plus VAT.
